A lot of bloggers desire to be the part of BSA (BuySellAds) publishers directory. But some of them when apply, get rejected. I have sorted out some reasons that why a person gets rejected, and if you are thinking to apply, you must read this before apply BSA.
Do you believe that you have adequate audience for BSA approval?
- How is the aesthetic appeal of your Blog?
- How many visitors your blog have?
- Your blog is on custom domain?
- You have sufficient social media fan listing (e.g Facebook page Fans, Twitter Followers)?
- What is your page rank you are applying for?
- How many impressions you are getting per month?
These are the questions that would encounter.
1 Your Blog Is Not Eye Catching
You must make sure that you blog has an eye catching design. Fresh bloggers are ugly to earn fast and in that case they don’t even realize that how their blog looks. They load their blogs with tons of flashy ads, popups, banners etc. In that case, its time for you to stop dreaming of BuySellAds Publisher. At present there are about 2800+ publishers at BSA and each and every blog speaks for its self.
Their blog design looks mature and thus gives quite a bit of spotlight to the advertisers. BSA application moderators have hitch approving blogs that give too much liking to advertisement. They like to see blogs coming up for the application that aims to provide quality to the readers.
So make sure that you blog’s design is clean while not overusing the ads.
2 Your Blog Has Not Sufficient Traffic
Applying all over the place seems fancy to many. But a rejection letter feels worse. So make sure that you don’t apply (even for the first time) when you are fully satisfied with your blog’s standings. Though applying to BSA and getting rejected would not take away your chances to apply again.
The best way to get approval is to study the blogs that are already approved with BSA. To do this simply goes to the BSA, search a keyword and that will provide you the list of blogs already approved. Keenly observe them and make changing accordingly.
Jump on to the last page so that you can get to know the statistics of the weakest blog in the directory for a particular keyword (that you typed in). So make sure that your blog have 1-2 attributes of those blogs.
Its not essential to have the best Alexa rank out there for the approval. I have seen couple of blogs with Alexa rank around 200,000 but are listed in the directory. Plus they are making couple of dollars too (around 100$).
Why? BuySellAds gives priority to the blog’s social exposure too. If your blog got Facebook and Twitter followers above 1000, then i believe your blog can be a strong contender. Likewise, there are many blogs with a pretty low Alexa rank, but least social media following.
BUT, even though you may get approved, the only major thing that would determine your capability to attract advertisers would be your blogs traffic. After all that’s what the advertisers look for.
3 You Are Using Free Domains
BSA doesn’t accept free domain blogs. You must own a custom domain name like (www.yourWebSiteName.com).
You must have your own custom domain if you are creating blog to earn. Because many of the networks that offer you to earn will ask if you have your own custom domain.
4 Your Blog Does Not Have Fame At Social Media
If you don’t have enough Facebook fans and Twitter followers for your blogs back linking, then it would get hard for you to get accepted by BSA. Social media has started playing a very important role in making money online.
Make sure that your blog has at least 500 Facebook fans and 500 Twitter followers. DON’T apply before that. The results might be demotivating.
5 Your Impressions per Month
It also depends on the number of impressions you are getting per month. I am receiving 300,000 Impressions per month as Google Webmaster told me.
But If you are applying for BSA, you must be sure that you are getting at least 50,000 Impressions for your blog per month.
